Destruction of Forest :
"The cut down of trees for man’s own comfort is called destruction of Forests."
Deforestation is the permanent removal of trees to make room for something besides forest. This can include clearing the land for agriculture or grazing, or using the timber for fuel, construction or manufacturing.
It covers the 30% area of the land.
Causes:-
Housing and food:-
It includes construction and manufacturing of houses in which wood of forests is used due to which destruction of forests is happening.
Agriculture:-
It’s another cause of this rapidly increasing problem. The trees are cutted down to use them for grazing and timber for fuel. People are cutting down them for bowing seeds of different fruits and vegetables for the betterment of themselves.
Effects:-
Climate change:-
Due to this destruction of forests there is a climate change in weather. Different sort of weather’s condition is happening.
And global warming is also effected badly. As,Indonesia is World’s 3rd largest greenhouse gas emmitter after US and China. So, we should also do something to save our forests.
- Community Devastation:-
It means the lack of food and medicine for the community. Due to which people are drinking polluted water by soil erosion.
Biodiversity loss:-
Due this issue not only humans are effected infact animals and little plants and even insects are also effected badly as their habitats are bring destroyed.
Solutions:
We should take care of our trees and forests and should try to plant more trees to increase greenery.As, they are responsible for generating oxygen by using carbon dioxide.We should support our government for the completion of the great mission of planting trees all around our surroundings.
