“It’s time to say goodbye, but I think goodbyes are sad and I’d much rather say hello. Hello to a new adventure.

— Ernie Harwell”

The last online session that took place on 21st February 2021, at Amal academy (Career-prep fellowship) will be unforgettable. The expressions and feelings during that session are beyond words. The thought of not being able to attend any more sessions and that good-bye moment made me feel sad. Even our Amazing facilitators Sir Noor and Ma’am Arfa were emotional at the moment.

In the last session, the thing I enjoyed most was the energizer which we did during the session. The whole batch was divided into two groups one was under Sir Noor and the other was under Mam Arfa. It was something like “Solve the Riddle and take a selfie with that thing”. Our connection got stronger with each other during this activity. I will try my best to keep in touch with my AMAL family and especially my best friends I made at Amal.

At the start of my Amal journey, I was so excited when I received a call for an Interview but after getting the first project work and session, it was challenging for me to manage my university, other activities, and Amal projects. But with the passage of time, I learned time management and how to maintain balance in my life and work.

Last but not least, I learned to show gratitude and to appreciate everyone. And to enjoy all the activities besides fulfilling my duties to keep the balance. I will try to sustain these learnings in my future by acting upon the Amal progress rules which lead to success. Our facilitator ma’am Arfa took screenshots of our last session with hearts popping up and making signs and our fellows recorded some videos as well.
